Bianca is a multimedia journalist and is currently employed as a video journalist, editor and producer at News Corp Australia, based in Brisbane.
She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in a Bachelor of Journalism, specialising in advanced radio & television, but also had the extraordinary opportunity to travel abroad to the Middle-East to study international reporting.
She spent five weeks living in Jerusalem, Israel, part of a course run by the Institute for Education in International Media (ieiMedia). She spent her weeks meeting not only locals from Jerusalem and the West Bank, but representatives from the United Nations, the European Union, top-level Knesset officials and other members of various non-profit organisations. She wrote several profiles on the locals she met and the places she travelled, as well as creating a large multimedia collaboration on refugee camps located in the West Bank.
Bianca also has several years experience as a television and radio reporter, and examples of her work can be found here.
Bianca one day aspires to work overseas as a foreign correspondent. She’s passionate about international news, particularly that involving the Middle-East and Africa, and aspires to one day work in both conflict, and post-conflict areas.
